OPERATION MALICIOUS INTENT

PURPOSE:
Seek and destroy the enemy.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
Bagged bread has always been stored on top of the refrigerator. Midway through the summer, small holes were noticed in the plastic bags and small chunks of bread were missing. Everyday the holes got bigger and more bread was missing. It was decided that an intruder had found our supply of rations and was attempting to gorge himself nightly. The bread was moved, traps were set; but alas, the enemy was never seen again.

Moving ahead to the early morning hours of August 6, 2002. The enemy had not made his presence known for quite some time and the troops were becoming complacent. A small amount of delicious Mexican rice was left sitting on the stovetop. During the night watch (approx 04:00 Romeo), the enemy was spotted scurrying across the counter and into the stove. He was back.

PLAN OF ACTION:
Lay traps on the stovetop and at the base of the stove in an attempt to close in on the enemy from both sides. The enemy will be tempted by delicious nutrition, then at its weakest hour he will be caught.
