i'd rather have barry than randy personally....you know, because randy's bad for baseball. anyway, you can piece together pretty decent starting pitching, but how many guys can you depend on to get on base as much as bonds does, hit for that average and get you at least 45 hr? oh, and ajay posted that he wants bonds back, he apparently hit the accept button when he meant reject....oops!

bonds for randy isnt bad, i dont think (at least not the way my league works) cause there are so few good pitchers, and so many 35-40 home run guys...bonds will hit for high average, but it wont matter much cause he gets so few at bats due to walks. also, he gets far fewer runs and rbis then other guys with his power/average numbers. johnson (who i hate with a passion and would never put on my own team) will get 20 wins, 300 k's and have a sickly low era and whip

i'm actually kinda surprised you let it go by, then again i could think of much worse trades for randy johnson.... i do have a bet to win though...
