elscorcho is up over 12,000 hits!! nobody has told me how they feel about the new photo section, or new ideas for the interface, or anything, really. ajay just keeps telling me to post, so i am. i'm kinda peeved at the lack of response though! and i can't name names cuz there are too many of you and i'll forget to call someone out and then they'll just sit there being smug and using elscorcho and not telling me about it. so fucking use the "respond" thingy or email me or something! thanks

i'm at work right now, and its almost lunch time. i'm taking a little break to post - i'm in the middle of my first monster.com project (hurrah!!) but there is a snafu with something and i have to wait until it gets cleared out. i've learned these last two days that i am not terrible at perl, even though that class kicked my ass. so thats good to know - i still have a working understanding of stupid stupid evil perl.

i won't bore you with the details, but monster is amazing. i really enjoy coming here and doing whatever, it doesn't feel like work - it's just fun to code in a room with other people who aren't there cuz of requirements for their majors or minors but are there because they really like programming. just being around people who don't hate computer science is really refreshing. not that i have a problem with any cs majors who dislike what they are doing (wink wink), but its just refreshing to know i'm not the only nerd coming outta school next year.

i dunno, not much else. well, i haven't posted in nearly a month, so iguess theres stuff. i went home with thad, and we saw lots of baseball games. i met stephan jenkins and arjune told him that he liked kurt cobain more (sj was ok with that). i did things around boston... jon and ryan came back, they moved in to 25 with me... nick was here so he didn't 'come back', but he also moved in... i dunno, its lunch time... this post sucked, but its something to tide you over.
