it's been a little while, i know. apologies.

i have pictures from my trip to connecticut, but they are on my camera. i'll transfer them over at some point (maybe late tonight, more likely tomorrow). anyways, the trip was a good time. i waffled a lot as to whether or not i wanted to go, but in retrospect i clearly made the right decision. i think it was one of the definitive weekends (or will be viewed, in retrospect) of the summer.

we went down early saturday morning. ken's mom had hotdogs for us, which we grilled. ken's backyard is gorgeous, that's all i have to say about that. so after we ate, we went and got on the powerboat. amazing time, except my battery for my camera died within the first 10 minutes (hence the lack of overall pictures). after the fun powerboating adventure, we came back and had hamburgers on the grill. i could stop here, and it would be the perfect day (other than the fact that phil didn't eat anything because he decided to go on a diet for the weekend or something stupid, i dunno). but no, there was more. we got on the sailboat (with ken's parents and neighbors) and sailed over to new london, where we saw this HUGE fireworks show. it was really really amazing. all of it. there was some bacon and pancakes and stuff on sunday, and i think we went to the beach in there somewhere... man, i like bacon. and i like the ocean. and i had a great time. i want to go back sometime soon.

next time we'll probably spend more time at foxwoods (hehe).

i'll get another post up here at some point about something more. i don't know if it will come any time soon, as i just got ncaa football 2004 and we're going to montreal soon (i'll bring extra camera batteries on that trip!!), and with work and all...
