yeah... who cares about aces when the bullpen sucks ass. also, who is starting for the sox in the next two games? wakefield and then lowe? and the a's have zito and mulder? good thing the a's offense sucks (5 runs in 12 innings, cmon) and the sox offense is good (while they scored 4 in 12, i'm sure, nay, positive that they will score much much more in the next few games of this series). anyways, regardless of the predictable red sox bullpen meltdown and the piss-poor a's offense (until extras, when they started doing really good things), i enjoyed game one of the a's-sox series, despite holding no affection at all for either team. the marlins-giants game was crazy too, but at least in that series i really want the marlins to lose. and i like the cubbies (who doesn't? they are lovable, with sick sick pitching and an offense that shouldn't be as good as it is, and it isn't good, but it should be worse, you dig?), and i .. well i guess i'm just ignoring the yankees-twins series, cuz i'm apathetic to anti about the yankees and i really hate how the twins became the feel good story of the year last year even though their fucking fans didn't come out to support them. god, contract the damn twins, they aren't making money and they play in a black hole.
anyways, this is all just reiterating my point from last post - i like post-season baseball, even though going in to it i didn't think i would.
i like football more though. when's football on again? and when does thursday night nfl start up? thursday night nfl is like monday night except its the start of the weekend, not the start of the week. also, i think espn guys do it (i hope espn guys do it, if it comes back) and that is the best booth in football (even with theisman!). mm... football.
how many pairs of parentheses are in this friggin post?
i've been sleepin weird the last few nights, might be cuz its getting cold. i wake up with a weird throat scratch thing going on too... i might be getting sick :( then again, mebbe not.
uh... i got a midterm today... maybe i'll study now. things are getting back in a good groove, i'm feeling less disconnected. these things are good... hopefully the trends continue.
oh baseball
