another plea for firefox

a link to firefox

ok people. i've pretty much spent all day getting mad at IE for presenting my website in a terrible way. now, i know a lot of you use IE and don't have too much of a problem with the site, but there are things that bother you. i am sure of it, even if you don't fully recognize them. colors are off, spacing is off, the site is generally less enjoyable in IE. now, since i honestly don't know how to fix a lot of these stupid problems, i am going to make another push for you all to use firefox.

now, i know "seeing elscorcho in its full glory" isn't a great reason to use a new browser in and of itself. and a lot of you don't care about speed as much as i do. or the fact that it handles standards like a dream, where as ie chokes on everything Good. but here is a selling point that i have mentioned before, but shall emphasize now.

FIREFOX BLOCKS POPUPS.

if you use this browser, you will get SO FEW popups, it's unreal. i use the google toolbar at work, and firefox blocks more popups than even this nifty tool. seriously. no popups. at all. AT ALL.

no popups!

i know some of you care about this because i get asked all the time - "niv, how do you avoid popups". i usually give some cryptic answer, because if i got into it, i'd probably rant something like what i'm typing out here, but in verbal form its hard to keep up and comes out like gibberish.

yes, that was self-aware.

so, here is another link to firefox. click on it, try it out. i'm sure you'll like it.
