the modest mouse is pretty cool top to bottom. it's pretty crazy, percussive, and generally interesting. generic, it is not.

the new seven mary three was listened to right after franz ferdinand. this might have flavored it, since i was coming off an album i liked so much, but i just didn't like the seven mary three. i felt like i was in a bar. in 1995. and the flannel was making me sweat. so bleh to them.
