a few things have happened!

you can't choose a color scheme on the left anymore. i'm going to rework how that happens soon. it'll be neat.

there is a new default color scheme. comment away.

the link on the left to the photos goes to the new gallery. again, comment away.

things to do - change around the other style sheets, add fun header pictures (possibly dynamic ones, get excited)... i dunno. i'm trying to make this site look nicer. i'm more interested in the aesthetics than anything else, since my backend is working pretty well, for now. anyone have ideas?

ok, beyond site-related things...

jen was here this past weekend. she came thursday and expected to leave sunday. she stayed until today, which was wonderful. things are going really well with her. i dunno, much better than i could have anticipated. it's all kind of wonderful.

i have some pictures to add from over a week ago, when i was in nyc/nj. you'll see them soon! i promise. the ones from parker's apartment are especially choice

so that's it for now. quiet time until the weekend of the 4th, when we hopefully will have some people up. i think i'm going to try to post fairly often (once a day, maybe? maybe once every 2-3 days?) but write longer posts like this. i sort of want a way to handle short little things that i want to post without having them as full posts, and so i might add a small "quick hits" sidebar on the side or something, with just links and really really short posts. any interest? again, comment away.
