i just googled 'niv' on a hunch. no, that doesn't make any sense.

elscorcho is nowhere near the top. mainly because everywhere i am supposed to write something to promote my site for search engines, i write 'elscorcho', not 'niv' or 'stupid website' or 'rant followed by reactionary rants' or anything. so, i'm pretty far down, in that i can't find myself amongst the 1.29 million results that google gives for 'niv'.
