alright, it's time to go at it.
i've moved in to my new place. it's nice. it's not home yet, but its becoming home. and no, there isn't any room for entertaining guests. ken can come over and play video games though.
i like living in brighton. the commute is rough, but its a great area. really close to cleveland circle, really close to BC and all that that entails, and really close to coolidge corner and jen. it's a pretty fuckin cool place to live for a first place to live on your own.
saw garden state last night - i thought it was pretty good, but annoyingly, as i told geoff earlier, the characters aren't sticking with me at all and i don't give a crap what happens next to them now, 12 hours after seeing it. that's not good. but i did enjoy the time i spent actually watching the movie. so i'm not sure if this review is favorable or not.
i gotta call at&t now cuz i'm switching over to verizon. or i have. but i'm going to port my number over in 2 days (i think) when my at&t contract ends.
tennessee-florida is this saturday. given football is my favorite sport, other than the spurs/indians/browns being in their respective championship series/game, this is probably the most emotionally invested i get in a single sporting event all year. well, other than that one year the vols won it all. and those other 4-5 years when they fucking should have.
gonna get burnout 3 today or tomorrow. i'm pretty excited, it looks fucking sweet. i'm sure i'll post out a review at some point, because some people like that sort of thing.
finally, the packers are the one team in madden that is way better in madden than they are in real life. or so i thought. try out the redskins too.

chad, first off, don't respond to long posts by picking out the one line about sports. its annoying. go write on your blog or something.
secondly, the packers aren't good. i'm not sure what team you've been watching, but we're seeing a favre who's body is finally giving out (2 really bad games) and a fumbletastic rb who somehow doesn't fumble in madden AT ALL. and a defense that is highly overrated in madden, with two good corners, a good safety (sharper), and a decent DL. that's about it though, not a solid defense by any means and a shaky one-two punch -
a team that madden likes so much that he personally made favre a god (have you ever watched madden call a pack game, he LOVES favre) and he made the defense incredible (when they are just above average).
so i'll knock the pack if i want, but i'd rather knock them on ireofchad and leave this to be my own personal bastion of self-indulgent crap, as opposed to a shared bastion of self-indulgent crap

re: the pack
is good. in real life and in madden. i dont think madden overrates them. i think they somehow managed to suck it up against a bad bad bears team, but seeing the packers in the super bowl would not surprise me one bit. their defense is solid and their offense...well, you could argue that they have the best one-two punch in the league with Favre (who is still damn good) and Green (who two people now--someone on the monday night game and then someone else some other time--have predicted will go over 2,000 this year) is a work-horse. so don't be knocking the packers.
