the drive in to work today was just wonderful. the leaves are changing, there was some light fog, it felt very classic... driving through new england, through all these massachusetts towns that have been around since the 17th century, leaves changing, clouds hugging the ground near certain dips and turns... i love october.
so when i'm driving and i see something and think "god i'd love to have a picture of that", i either just keep driving or sometimes try and snap a picture while i'm moving in the car. is there some sort of protocol on stopping on the side of the road to take pictures at like 7:30am on your way to work? there aren't huge shoulders on these roads, so i'd have to find an appropriate place to stop... or is this all not worth it? i can't decide if i want to let photography dictate to me what to do. i want my photos to be my bitch. hehe.
site related: i changed stuff around (AGAIN) and in doing so, i broke all the old themes. sorry? i don't really want to go through the effort of changing all of them... unless there is a huge outcry against my latest (blorange, go change to it if things look retarded right now). feel free to leave comments and let me know what you think

re: inspiration is unconfined by rules of conduct
...that's why when you feel the need to take a picture you HAVE to take said picture whether it means stopping in the middle of a goddamn highway, or going three miles out of your way.
your art can't be your bitch, you are your art's bitch, and always will be. when inspiration strikes you must satisfy it. lest you find youself writing silly posts about whether or not you should stop to take pictures on the side of the road.
