read this if you don't know about my recent car accident.

i just got off the phone with the vp of dewcon. dewcon is the construction company that owns the truck that hit my car. the vp was the guy i talked to last friday about the whole thing, he seemed very nice and understanding. anyways, i called him, he said he hadn't talked to the driver yet. i told him i had the estimate for the damage and i could fax it over, he gave me a number and said he'd look it over, call the driver tonight, and get back to me in the a.m. i hung up, satisfied. then he called me back.

"i gotta jet, can we take care of this first thing tomorrow? i have a feeling this is my driver's fault and i have issues with him already, so i'm sure its his fault. also, i kind of have an anniversary with my girlfriend tonight and i haven't gotten a present yet and shit, so can we do this tomorrow morning?"

i'm paraphrasing slightly, but this was definitely the gist of what he said to me.
