just for the record... i'm very close to giving up on this show. very, very close. if any of you think the o.c. is worth watching now, you should go back and watch the first 5 episodes in a row. and then realize that it is a shadow of its former glory. mainly because they blew their wad a long, long time ago and they don't know how to develop characters further.

i'm totally with you. there are a few jems, like one per episode, tops, but everything else sucks. its rushed, the plot is poorly orchestrated, and the characters are flat and lifeless.

it has become what it was once trying to subtly make fun of, and that sucks.
