i just put on 311 - down here at work. and i'm wondering why the fuck they suck so bad. because down was a great song. and all mixed up wasn't awful. but all this dirty hippy trying to be melodic and slow shit just kills me. you can throw one or two of those tracks in on a cd, sure, but really, what have they done since those first two tracks?

maybe i'm missing something?

please, enlighten me. why does 311 suck, and why did they waste so much potential? them and sublime just kill me with their blown potential, but at least sublime has a good excuse.
