i want to write about this game
i really do
that fourth quarter was such a great finish to the chess match that was this 7 game series.

but
i have to work
a lot
so i can't right now

but maybe i will later.

UPDATE
now is later. its saturday, late-afternoon, and the spurs won the title 2 days ago. i'm still feelin good about that, but i don't have all the thoughts that i wanted to write about friday morning. i need to just take notes and then post later, i think. anyways, i just remember the announcers saying something about how the pistons had played 107 games and the spurs had played 106 and right after that the pistons defense collapsed on itself. this was in the middle of the fourth quarter, but i think the turning point was early in the third quarter, when the pistons pulled out to a 48-39 lead (39-38 at halftime, so 9-1 to start the third) and the spurs looked on the ropes, but all of a sudden they remembered how to score, reeling of 7 straight points and stifling the pistons in the process. they recaptured the lead around 55-53 i think, and they just played dominant basketball on out. they played like the spurs of the phoenix series and of games one and two, and while the pistons didn't lay down (as they did in the first two games), they were clearly overmatched. the play of the fourth quarter was what i wanted all along from the spurs. that kind of basketball was why i expected the spurs to sweep.

lemme quickly plug music.elscorcho.org. ok, done. that is all.
