a few weeks ago i started to notice that all the music i was listening to was washed out and lifeless. i thought for a moment that maybe all new music was just washed out and lifeless, then i realized that that was a stupid thing to think, and i started examining the actual sound issues i was having. fast forward to yesterday, when i received my logitech z-2300s which i purchased on ebay. these speakers are incredible. there is no other way to put it. i'm having a revelation on par with the first time i put on my sennheiser hd497 headphones (before the connector broke and they went the way of the dodo bird). i opened up with the killers and for the first time i heard the full extent of the beautiful distorted fuzz that is found throughout their album. then i put on simon and garfunkel ('the boxer') and matthew good ('song for the girl') and i could hear the room. hearing the room is amazing. i can't quite explain it other than to say that at some point in your life you should listen to an acoustic track you like on amazing speakers so you can actually hear the song for the first time properly.

anyways, i'm happy, and now i'm goin to revisit a lot of music, and that means... wait for it, wait for it.... more material on music.elscorcho.org!!! yay!
