why i hate going home

i've been annoyed with a few things around here. they are all food-related. i have no soda. i get crap whenever i even talk about drinking a coke, let alone when i had two with dinner two nights ago... "oh the calories!" jesus.

i got crap when i asked for crunchberries as my cereal. apparently the amount of sugar in that box of crunchberries pretty much equals all the other sugar in this house combined. no wonder everyone goes to bed at 9:30.

but now, i've been pushed over the edge. my lunch is a disaster.

my parents sent me to some "deli" to get meat
once i GOT there, i found out it was some fancy wine and cheese shop that had some meats. anyways, i got some prosciutto and asked for a cheese, they gave me provolone. i get home and find out

1) the cheese is moldy
2) there is no normal bread in the house, only crazy multi-grain and some huge tomato-basil roll that i tried and was seriously the size of my face and twice as hard.

of course, my sister has already gone back to work so i have no car and i'm stuck here with multi grain bread and moldy cheese... and some fancy prosciutto THAT HAS NO VEHICLE IN WHICH TO ENTER MY MOUTH.

this is the struggle i go through. my parents and sister are some sort of combination of rich snobs and hippies that refuse to eat anything that is enjoyable to eat. as a result, i'm sent to snobby ass delis that have shitty cheese and given crap when i want to drink anything that isn't water or organic skim milk. what crap.

UPDATE
yeah multi-grain bread and prosciutto do not go together at all.

You just got a new job and a big raise - order something from peapod or whatever - rent a car - order something from Fedex.
