i started at rsa today. i like it a lot. everything seems so much more... sane. it's nice. i dunno what else to say. securIDs are neat. hehe. it's still work, but it's nice, and the commute is shorter, and i don't have to work weekends, and i get paid a shitload more. what else can you want?

last week was spent in madison. i read a few books - moneyball, the first 50 pages of scout's honor, freakonomics - and jen came on wednesday and met my family and stuff... the trip was very successful. it was all very, very nice.

i have projects going on. music.elscorcho.org is progressing nicely, to the point where i'm going to have to think about how to organize that front page. bleh. don't wanna think about that yet. awknerd should have some shit there soon, and really the time to start looking at the nfl draft is coming up pretty damn soon. i have a few other projects that i can't really talk about yet... but i will share as soon as i can. i'm keeping myself busy!

and of course....

vegas in 9 days.

i can't wait.

i'm actually going again in october too. can you believe that? i've never been to vegas, and before i've even taken my first trip, my second one is planned, with jen and geoff (and possibly more to join? i dunno and don't care, for the record) on columbus day weekend. geoff has assured me that it is very hard to not have fun in vegas, so i'm confident it will be good.
