so chad has returned to the internet with a strong showing, to say the least. he's put geoff and thad to shame, to say the least. let's look at some of the material from chaddles recently:

• college football predictions, a weekly contest between chad, geoff, and myself
• a late but still strong analysis of the scott podsednik-carlos lee trade
• busch stadium is overrated
• and most relevant to me right now, a preview of the world series

i have a quick world series prediction, as i spent up most of my momentum on this post pimping chad's site. i think the white sox offense cools off a little. i tihnk the starting pitching cannot repeat the "4 straight complete games" performance from the alcs, and i think anyone not named bobby jenks has been pretty shaky down the stretch... back when they last pitched, like a month ago. i also think the astros big three and even backe are pretty dialed in right now.

as the cardinals-astros series showed us, great pitching is capable of stopping great hitting. the white sox hitting is nowhere near as good as the cardinals hitting, so i think the astros take the world series in 6.
