i gave my new camera a spin over the weekend. jen and i went over to albany friday night and stayed with jen's maternal grandmother, then we went to a small town near ithaca on saturday, where we attended her cousin's wedding. saturday afternoon we drove to milford, which is about 8 miles south of cooperstown. of course, we spent sunday at cooperstown, and i got back home around 7.

anyways, i didn't take a ton of photos, and i'm still getting a feel for how to use this badboy, and i'm not sure how i'm going to share these 3-4mb pictures, and i'm not really happy with how silly they look "resized" by my scripts.... but all that said, you can find the new photos here. this one in particular is one of my faves.

i have a feeling that this camera is going to force me to evolve into -> photoshopping photos more, resizing them on my own more (so that they resize smoother) and moving towards more of a photoblog one-photo-a-day type of format. all of which would be good things.

the new place is still a complete disaster. i slept the first night here on a couch. in fact, on thad's couch, the very one i slept on multiple nights up in south hall my soph year. oh memories, how well you must serve me.
