so for some fucked up incomprehensible reason, my idiot brain got the song 'photograph' by the verve pipe stuck in... it. yes, the "we were only freshmen" verve pipe. thanks for nothing, idiot brain.

i bet i'm the only person on earth who listened to 'photograph' every day for the last 3 days. the song isn't good, in case you were wondering. my only reason for posting this is so someone reads this and gets either this song or some other verve pipe travesty stuck in their head. that way i won't be alone.

since that is hardly post-worthy, let me share a little story i told zach yesterday.

yo la tengo has a new cd out

the first track
is called
"hand me the hatchet, i think i'm goodkind"
which
is a stupid generic indie name for a song
"hey lets write a bunch of words in a row and call it a song title because WE ARE DEEP"

but i thought
the title was
"hand me the hatchet, i think i'm confused"
which
made me really like yo la tengo
for the ten minutes i was under that impression

yeah i just quoted myself. whatever. my title's better than yo la tengo's, am i right? am i wrong?
