i said it only a few days ago:

gears of war - amazing. if you have a 360, get it. if you don't have a 360, get it and a 360.

i beat gears of war today. i'm 50/50 as to whether or not i'll give it more significant playing time, but i'm leaning towards it. regardless, it is an excellent game. the only complaint is that it felt a bit short, but that might be because i played the game excessively since i bought it.

i updated the photo gallery with photos dating back to september. in some ways this is a bad thing. i updated some of the code to make it (even) easier for me to update that bad boy - even LESS work for me. the closer that gets to a 0-cost operation, the more likely that the gallery gets updated often.

i haven't photographed for a little bit. it gnaws at my brain, just like the urge to do endless other creative endeavors. so i have the yearnings, but i dont' seem to have the... what, work ethic? motivation? something else?

it's pathetic.

i need to get going.

maybe i'll go hook up the dreamcast.
