a crashing halt

0812-january15-2007
6-2 ML, 4-4 ATS.

the seahawks and the chargers just played two of the most frustrating football games i've ever seen.

the next round is going to be excellent.

here's what little insight i have to add: only the saints won a game over the weekend. the chargers, seahawks, and ravens all lost their games - indy did (from what i can tell) little more than expose the ravens offense as an inept mess, which isn't a huge shock for anyone; the chargers found new and exciting ways to blow a 21-13 lead against a quarterback who was having one of the worst big-game games of his life; the seahawks similarly found interesting ways to let dr jekyll and mr grossman beat them by being a bit schizo themselves, alternating between sweet and out of sync on offense.

that last sentence was a fucking mess grammatically.

anyways, onward to the next round, which is sure to be excellent.

update:
give me new orleans +3.5 (and outright!) and indy -3.0. one of these two games will be close, and i think i'm about due for a push. hint: you can't score half a point in football.

back to your regularly scheduled programming, whatever the fuck that is, in a bit.
