i don't have AC stories. i lied.

there were moments... there were some things... but overall, the trip was a faceless blur; no truly defining moments, no great realizations, nothing like that.

well, maybe one defining moment, but writing about a $15 craps game in which our collective $800 bankroll shrunk to $500 before ballooning in one roll to $1300 would probably bore the crap out of you. gambling stories rarely translate in the written form - you've seen 'em all before, or if you haven't, you don't care about gambling.

anyways, it was a nice enough weekend, and now winter has (finally) shown up in boston. jen and i went to the spurs-celtics game tonight (section 7, row A, seats 9-10 - 3 rows from the floor, etc) and had a good time watching the spurs explode in the 2nd and 3rd only to barely hang on in the 4th. phantom foul on al jefferson late in the 4th (parker driving across the lane and tripped, the refs said jefferson stuck his leg out when he really didn't) saved the spurs hide. that and gomes wasting 5 precious seconds before fouling finley. all in all, a good time - i wish i had a few more games to go to this season, but this was a nice experience for sure.

i just wrote more about one game of basketball than an entire weekend in atlantic city.

that's how i feel about all of THAT right now.
