i just have a lot to write about right now, what can i say?
3 hours til the big auction draft. i'll overview my team sometime this week i'm guessing.
thad pointed out in comments that i've been throwing an extra 'b' into 'ostensibly', or did at least in my last post. now, i never proof-read (or re-read) my posts, and i never run them through a spell-checker. that being said, i pride myself on not making many typos at all. so... i think i've been spelling ostensibly as 'obstensibly' for a long, long time without really noticing it or being called out on it. luckily, i only recently brought the word into my vernacular so maybe it hasn't been as bad a phenomenon as i fear... well, let's go to the tape.

this post will right this wrong, apparently.
i finally got around to putting warioware in the wii last night, and jen and i played it for a hour, watched 'taxi driver' (a whole separate post if i wanted), and then played for another 45 minutes. now, this scenario would only be possible if both jen and i really liked the game, so keep that in mind.
the game is a series of microgames, basically. you have 12-14 5 second games in which all you know going in is how to hold the controller. so you have 5 seconds to figure out what exactly the game wants you to do, how to move the controller in order to do it, and then complete the task in front of you, be it jumping rope, inserting a cartridge into a SNES, or cleaning a cow's butt. we ran through the game last night in order to unlock multiplayer, but there are still a ton of minigames that we haven't played.
anyways, i recommend this game to everyone who owns a wii without hesitation. if you do not find it fun, i would deem that something might in fact be wrong with you.
as geoff just said, draftiness is tangible, so i need to go over a few more things. enjoy your sunday.
warioware and horrible misspellings
