tribe looked real good yesterday. everyone other than marte got on base, i think. sizemore led off the season with a homer. hafner and victor were good. sabathia was good enough. everything clicked (other than borowski, but whatever, he was just getting an inning of work in). an overall good start to the season. also the white sox suck big time.

i was considering getting an apple tv after reading about all the hacks that exist out there. i even went to the mall and looked for parking so that i could go to the apple store and get one. then i realized that i'd be dropping a decent amount of money that would put me close to halfway towards a nice camera.

so then i left the parking lot.

i think this is a good decision, long term. i mean, what interests me more on a fundamental level - watching television or taking photos? the question answers itself, man.

i'm scoping out this one right now. good deal on amazon and all. yeah.

geoff pointed me towards this blog which is maintained by dean simakis, a kid who was a senior when i was a soph in high school. it's hilarious and well worth a read. another "oh shit, maybe i should write more" moment occured after reading a bit.
