i just ran out to get something to eat, and i encountered the small, drizzly, cold rain you get in winters... everywhere, i guess. rain that wishes it was snow. obviously its not quite 30 degrees outside - it's closer to 50 - but after the last two days of 70s-80s it was sufficiently chilly. so this rain, it felt like november rain (ha ha! pun intended, thank you very much). but the smell was the distinct smell of spring/summer rain, the rain of shorts and long days and thunder.
when i was getting ready to leave, all i saw were the gray clouds.
i'm in a better mood than when i left.
