i had a dream in which i held some sort of special edition of the cure's 'disintegration'. i considered buying it because i had a realization: "hey, this is the greatest album ever" - of course, that realization is based entirely on a line from south park.

the human mind is weird.

i beat super paper mario last night. pretty satisfying. i didn't mess around with sidequests or anything like that, as i just don't find them that interesting and i was pretty into the straightforward storyline development that was going on. anyway, i ripped through it and now i'm done.

the sad fact is that now my wii will go dormant, save for sporadic usage when other people are around, until august, when metroid prime 3 hits. i really can't believe how unenjoyable all the other wii games are. they fall into two categories: too simplistic or not well-designed. of course, some games are 'both'. i'll probably get harry potter for jen (at least as a rental) next month, but i really don't see anything else on the horizon that interests me. with catan dropping on xbla and with me getting parker and asian both hooked on the game, this isn't a huge problem, but it is very disappointing all the same.

i'm getting a DSLR this week. i just don't know which one quite yet, but i'm leaning towards the nikon d40x. i don't have much else to add about that. go to the photoblog!

UPDATE: i did end up getting the nikon d40x. it is sweet.
