last night was a bit of a let-down, but the first two games in cleveland could not have gone any better. the first game erased all of the regular season yankees misery, and the second game was one of the most exciting baseball games i've ever seen, let alone been at. sizemore's run in the 8th was a thing of beauty, and the midges only added to the drama.

i took my camera to game 1 and got some decent pictures, though not as many as i would have liked, because i accidentally smudged my wide angle lens and thus could not use it effectively. the lens is clean now, at least, and i have a ton of pictures coming this week. make sure to check the (currently underutilized) photoblog.

also, hooray for getting the NL exactly right. also, i think i wanted the angels to win (due to my ticket situation for the ALCS) more than i believed they'd win. i still did pick the angels, but... just sayin'.
