i think i've mentioned last.fm/audioscrobbler here before, but i don't want to go back and look right now. i found a sweet project called lastgraph that graphs last.fm history based on this visualization model and so i gave it a whirl.

the pdfs it outputted were 3mb and 6 feet wide each. i think if i look at something a bit more controlled, like a year of data at a time, it would be easier to read. but the hell with that.
