so when i was in 1st grade
i was introduced to a book with amazing illustrations
and these little ... hippo bear type things
that were going to war against evil

anyway
my parents got me this book when i was in first grade or so. i forgot about it eventually. we moved 2 times and my parents have moved once since then. starting in college i began to think about this book, forgetting the title but really missing it and wondering if i'd ever be able to describe it aptly enough to find it again.

today at lunch i overheard roy talking to his boss's boss
about a children's book called "trouble for trumpets" and it took me a few seconds but i realized that was the book.

its rare now and costs around $200 in good condition and i'm seeing if my parents still have it somewhere.

its a big day for me.
