if you're in the crosswalk its your right of way
and if you're not in the crosswalk
and they stop
and you probably had already stopped
cause they're in a car
and you're on foot
and you saw them coming
so you started to stop
but then you saw them slowing down
and you're like
oh
is he
are they going
or are they stopping
and then the person waves you out
but you're already stopped
standing there on the fucking corner like a douche
and they're in a car
so obviously
it would be quicker for both of you if they would just go
so then you wave them out
but they wave you out again
and you hesitate
than you both go at the same time
and if they had just gone you would both be the that much closer to where you were going
but no
they had to stop
when there was no reason to stop
so they can feel good about themselves
and they end up wasting everybody's time

the moral of the story is
don't stop the car
don't stop walking
cause wherever you are
whatever you're doing
you are always right
and they are always wrong
and they don't deserve any acknowledgment at all
